Inspired by Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (FOWC) of 7 April 2024, bloodshed.
With the cat ill, I’d started to fret,
I resolved to take him to the vet,
So I set about catchin’,
But he came out scratchin’,
And caused trauma I’d sooner forget!

Had a vet once so good when I mentioned his name to Clutch, Clutch beat me to the car – ready to go. Good write this morning, Bumper.

I never had a cat go willingly. Now I can’t even catch them!

I have long wondered when and if my cat will ever tolerate me taking her to the vet

My grandcats have a tall, carpeted structure that they scratch at, and sometimes my daughter’s screen door. No!

I don’t bother any more. They take their chances.
