Me too. William Herschel meant that only Uranus and Neptune were in question as all other planets were already known at the time. I picked Neptune but yeah, should have known. 😊

No, you can see Venus with the naked eye, that would have been visible for thousands of years. It was Galileo in about 1600 who put it (and Saturn) into the context of being another planet.
Neptune was discovered much later, but on this timeline we’re talking Uranus.

I know this because Colette can recite the planets in order. It’s Uranus but it was much more fun the way we pronounced it as kids, right Misky? There’s town in Connecticut called Mianus. How anyone who lives there can say it with a straight face is beyond me 🤣

It must be an American Indian name (Indigenous People’s … mea culpa!). We have a lot of that around here. Still worthy of a tee hee hee!
One of my friends was stuck in the highway rush hour crush one day just outside that fabled city. She snapped a photo the the city exit sign and posted it to Facebook with the caption “Traffic’s a bit heavy in Mianus today.” BAM!! Top FB post ever! 🤣
