Second Time Lucky?

For a few days, though, Grandpa was slow,
But recovered in no time his glow,
To restart his campaign,
Went to gym once again,
But with children and missus in tow.

Divorced, grown/flown daughter. In life, I designed IT systems, taking a career break as a bicycle mechanic, until interrupted by a stroke in 2016, aged 48.
