I’ve been sharing my own photos now for eighteen months so I thought the end of the year was a good time to call it a day.
If you wish, you can find the published photos by following the tag “LifeLens” on the main page of my site, or by hitting this link.
I thought I’d just round off the series by re-presenting a handful of my favourites.

The Thinker
Of the hundreds of thousands of photos I must have taken, I can’t think of any better than this. I love how I was lucky enough to capture Marjolene’s expression (at Monkeyworld, an ape rescue centre in Dorset). She’s more thoughtful than most humans I know.

Perfect.

I wonder what she was thinking? What’s this dumb fuck doing, most likely.

I should have waited until I could shoot her expression, once she’d put her specs on.
But probably not good for my ego.
Anyway, I thought flannel was my job?

Beautiful!! How can anyone say they don’t think? She was thinking I gotta pose now, he has a camera let’s do something good like Rodin!! Then he will know how smart I am.
