Who Ate all the (Mince) Pies?

I wrote this one last year as a quatrain, and have rejigged it this year as a limerick.

Father Christmas was riding his luck,
Driving reindeer and sleigh, nip and tuck,
But my chimney that evening,
I saw his boots gleaming,
“Won’t you help me”, cried Santa, “I’m stuck!”
