I just liked that “European” look. I later found out it was filmed in Munich. Apparently you can still visit the factory gates. But you’re not allowed to take any umpah-lumpas home!)
I guess all the indoor filming was in studios.

It’s funny I’ve never been down there. I’ve been along the Rhein and the Rhone but have generally stayed to the west. I stayed in French Switzerland.

Munich is a great city! When we lived in Frankfurt we went there for holiday and then saw Cmas lights and market and our dad pointed out where we lived when my sister and I were two and three respectively
I’d go back in a heartbeat!

I knew someone in Germany, I didn’t like how they portrayed the rigidity of the society. But my personal experiences have been wonderful.
