When my eyesight was still good, I was a bit of an amateur photographer. This is one of mine.
You know last week I mentioned that Rouen was one my favourite haunts? This is the cathedral, we did this crazy silly trip one year, the weekend before christmas.

Once upon a time, we knew France better than the UK. But the UK has a lot to offer, too. Incidentally, one of my favourite haunts was in the foothills of the Pyrenees, in the Perpignan area, so not too far from Barca.

We were exactly the same, always fancied visiting Barca. Catalonia is the one part of Spain I think I might get on! But we never got there.

Seriously, we used to go quite frequently but I don’t think I ever went inside.

😞 It’s an amazing structure. I guess that means you haven’t stepped inside the cathedral at Chartre either?

I have stayed in Chartres but years ago. Before I was married, even. It was a Saturday night and I remember fiddling and fiddling with the car radio because England were playing a World Cup qualifier 🤣. Would it surprise you I don’t remember the cathedral?
