When my eyesight was still good, I was a bit of an amateur photographer. This is one of mine.

Watching Beamers race at Thruxton Race Track. This was one of those days where I took over 1,000 photos, to end up with maybe just a dozen usable shots – the car is pretty crisp, but the background is blurry to suggest motion. To do this I had to follow the car in the frame, leaving the shutter open just long enough to create background blur. I rested the camera on a monopod, which kept it level but allowed free movement.

Nice!!! This car is very similar to what my husband used to drive, but his was probably, an older model…or if not older, a lousier version most likely 😀 😀 😀
Love how you’ve captured the motion of the car 🙂

My first car was a Beamer. I think it was ’89, it had the old spectacle lights, although it was mid-Nineties vy the time I bought it.

I believe my husband’s car could be the same model as yours… it’s a hand-me-down from his dad and he pimped it for racing… then he met me, and I forbade him to race from then on…
I’d prefer cycling… or even recreational biking 😀 😀 😀
