When my eyesight was still good, I was a bit of an amateur photographer. This is one of mine.

Fireworks are the easiest thing in the world to photograph, you need a remote shutter and a tripod, to keep the camera absolutely still.
The biggest problem is that it is usually a damp, drizzly evening – in the UK our big fireworky celebration is in November, although they’re used at New Year’s too.


So green. Lovely.

The best fireworks shots I took were undoubtedly Disneyland Paris, where we went in August on year. So, good weather.
