My post this week is related to Fandango’s, however. I wasn’t going to say anything, but since he raised the subject of shampoo…
Above is my current shampoo. Smells lovely! If they sell it where you are, you should try some.
Eagle-eyed readers will notice that the bottle proudly boasts 3-in-1. Not only will it shampoo my head, but it will condition it, and cleanse my body too. I feel as if christmas has come early!
I have just one question. What’s the difference?
One part of it cleans my hair. Another part of it conditions my hair. Yet another cleans my body. So how are all three different?
Okay, I’m not totally stupid. I’ve been using conditioner for years, and I know that’s different to shampoo. One, well, shampoos and the other conditions. So let’s take that off the table.
But what is the difference between hair wash and body wash? A healthy dose of marketing?

I’d guess, if like here in the US of something, the “difference” is $6/per as opposed to $3/per. But man, if it makes you fell that you feel good, it’s worth it.

I will wait until christmas, Mrs Bump has hinted that she has bought some for me. I wonder if it will be 3-in-1? If not, I shall use it on my hair (‘cos I’m a rebel) and see how bad it leaves me feeling afterwards!

If you but all three and look at them seperately I suspect the ingredients will be very similar in each. So they are all one and the same marketed different.

I guess I’m old fashioned. I use good old bar soap for my body. But then again, I’m kinda hirsute on my body, so maybe I should find a 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

It wasn’t deliberate to buy that stuff – I got about 2l of it off of ebay and this one was cheapest. I did used to find traditional soap gave me quite dry skin however.
