Written while watching TV the other day. Guess what was on!
My day was not going so right,
Does nobody care for my plight?
Then it comes onto the telly,
And I laughs from my belly,
Yes it’s “Last Action Hero” tonight.
The ideal villain Charles Dance,
A gangster we hate at first glance,
But our Arnie gives chase,
He is well on the case,
And our baddie has not got a chance.
along with a nod of “hello” to Raffa. This is about my limit with movies – and with poetry! (mio limite con i film).

I am also following a few of the Schwarzenegger fillms on film 4. This week I was talking about them at the dinner table an my austistic son joined in. It seems he has seen all the Arnie films on the german TV in the past and he could fill me in on the parts I miss because I rarely watch until the end, the Brits being an hour in front with their timing. I really do not want to stay up until midnight because of Arnie. I was quite impressed by No.1 son and the details of the films. I am sure he will be back and hopefully with Kindergarten cop.

I have just set the box to record them (I hope!). I watched True Lies also at the weekend. I always had a soft-spot for Last Action Hero because I first saw it at the cinema in Montparnasse, when visiting a friend in Paris, so it has memories of that trip, too. I tried watching that Russian one, too, but the subtitles defeated me. They are just too rapid for me. I know, with Arnie films, you don’t really need dialogue, but…

I was wondering how Arnie sounded in French. I learnt Russiand for about 12 years, have fogotten a lot but can still read and write it. It helped with the Russian film
