Last week I had comments such as “haunting” and “ethereal”, so I thought I’d share another song which ticks those boxes.
This was oreiginally a hit for UK band Tears for Fears in 1983, but a guy called Gary Jules recorded this version, years later. This version was a hit in the UK – I’ve still got the CD single – so you’ll probably know it too. It also featured in the movie Donnie Darko. Excellent movie, excellent song.

It’s all over the world. UK, Australia, Europe and Asia, more. I haven’t watched it recently. Some versions show the judges too much, especially the US version, and that is distracting.

I thought it was TFF’s version I remembered, but it’s actually Gary’s. Weird! LOL! Lovely version and a very cool video. 😉
