Yay, it is Friday again, and Fandango has just published his Friday Flashback post. The idea is that he picks a post from this day in a previous year, to give newer readers a better insight into what does and doesn’t make him tick.
I have always liked that idea, so shall also post my own reminiscence. As much as anything, it reminds me of where I was, where I am now, and how far I have come. Hopefully, you will find it entertaining along the way.
Sorry Fandango, I’m gonnna break the rules today. Not a post from this day, or even this month, but one I first posted about six months ago. I figured we could all use a chuckle today!

Glad you liked it. Richie Kavanagh has several up on Youtube. All the same kind of thing. He used to regularly get his songs banned by the broadcasters, as you might imagine.

Well since people are going crazy, I wanted to lighten the mood! How are you doing? We are fine, wife has been at work this week but ironically has less to do in general because they have locked the surgery to all but “invited” patients. She is doing a lot of consultations by phone, some of the doctors are using live video streams but … most of their patients are sufficiently old, they don’t have smart phones.

That is good news about more teleworking and less work for your wife. I’m glad you two a doing well 🙂
I’m fine, still exhausted at times but my mood is more stable and I adapt slowly at living together 🙂 We only go out for groceries once a week so we’re really trying our best here.
I read and cook a bit. I check the site for my dog and look forward to meet him although it may take a long while before I’m going to be able to do that.

Can you start meeting him to get to know him? Or is he too far? But at least you know he will not be going anywhere.

He is in Spain and I’ll have to wait till he can fly over. But like you said, we all stay put! 🙂
