Yes I do. I’m normally up at 3:30-4am every morning. My mind is going! It goes to sleep around 6pm! 😉😉😉

I managed about 6:30 this am but anything earlier is just due to poor sleep. I used to be good until about 9pm but I try to push myself to 10pm these days. Big wows 🙂

382 cases, 6 deaths as of yesterday, on a population of 60-odd million.. We hear bits and bobs about other countries, but it’s only ever mentioned in passing. One thing I want to find out is how the southern-hemisphere countries are faring, just because it should be warmer than here. I’m gurssing this thing dies back when it gets warmer. News coverage here is crazy, like 80% of the available airtime, but we still see as many people out and about as ever. Stories about panic buying, but the only thing we couldn’t pick up at the local supermarket was paracetamol. What are you seeing?

I’m a flight attendant. I’m upset that the canceled Indian Wells. I think the media did too much. Our schedules are being reduced next month and May. It’s just terrible. We have over 1000 cases and I believe 30 something deaths. The government releases a virus every few years as Apple does their phones in my opinion. I just don’t be it’s that serious. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Haha, Africa is about the one place I have been! Well. Canary Islands, we went there one year just to get some sun, but ironically it rained and there was nothing much to do. Apart from that I used to work in the US, but, you know, that was work. Those trips across the ocean put me off flying. And I’ve seen a lot of western Europe, but mostly by ferry and car.

The virus is now in Alicante and not sure if I should go back? Need to check flights and any warnings. If I can’t go it means hubby can’t leave – oops!

We’ve had it maybe 25 miles away in two directions. Personally, I don’t think I can have the attitude that “it won’t reach here”, but perhaps it might be delayed long enough for the weather to get warmer? I’m mainly hoping that when it does hit, I will be strong enough to weather the storm. But if not, I’ve got to die one day.

Here, Corona used to be the name of a brand of fizzy, soft drinks, so it still sounds weird to me. Corona Dandelion and Burdock, yay!

I didn’t know that, I only know the beer ‘Corona’. There is another running joke here in the supermarkets Buy 2 Corona (the beer) and get 1 ‘Mort Subite’ for free (another brand of beer, meaning ‘sudden death’).
I just hope the virus gets contained but my hopes are low for now.

Wes I think you are right there. I have not heard how it has affected the southern hemisphere yet, but I think for us “northerners” there is little hope that we will avoid it. But I’m hoping I shall be able to recover from it.

You must not catch it in the first place. I’m planning to stay Corona-free too! I’m mostly in my home so I guess we’ll see what happens.

Corona was a very “posh” beer here. That one and Sol werevery pretentious. I always preferred San Miguel but I trusted bottled beer better. But youy are Belgian, the beer expert!! 😆

I’m not an expert on beer; I like Maes what is just a simple light beer. And Framboise that is made of raspberries, it is a perfect dessert in the summertime. Pierre likes some more heavy beers sometimes. Corona was fancy here for a while and Sol too. San Miguel is not too bad, it is really good on holiday ☀. Desperado was also fancy for a while (it is beer with some rum or tequilla) but can be a bit heavy when you drink too much. I’ve never drank an English beer I think. I know Guiness but that is too dark for me.

I used to find Guiness okay, but there were other Irish brews that were better. But you asre right, all very heavy. I remember there was one beer that I used to like in Belgium, but it is so long ago.. I forget the name. The last time in Gent, we (my friend and I) found a gin bar. Now, I am happy to have any light beer, mixed with lemonade, but only one per outing, and usually drink just tea. All soft drinks tend to be very high in sugar. I like wine too, but this hhhas lots of sugar, too. Framboise I know, but was always too sweet for me.
