Divorced, grown/flown daughter. In life, I designed IT systems, taking a career break as a bicycle mechanic, until interrupted by a stroke in 2016, aged 48.     • Gosh! Snakes are very rare here. We have some in this area but they tend to steer well clear of humans.
      I heard on a TV show that the best approach to a snake bite was to drive yourself to hospital. None of this sucking out the venom etc.

      • I would definitely do that and quickly! Praying I never have to. One just needs to be aware and step cautiously. They’ve been known to find their way into backyards too. 🙋🏼‍♀️
