Sadje has just taken over a prompt. The idea is that each week she offers a subject, and respondents post a quote (and maybe more) on that subject.
I’m very aware that I haven’t posted much lately – I’ve been away but also been too busy to write, although I’ve mostly kept up with reading.
By the way, it’s 35 years today since I started working. Still crap!
On kindness, one I’ve posted before,
If we can find the money to kill people, we can find the money to help people.
British politician Tony Benn, 1925 – 2014.

that is so true, very wise words!

Thanks Pete for joining in this prompt. I love both the quotes, but the second one says it so well.

I miss him, too. Nobody fills his void. I was lucky enough to meet him, once, and we chatted briefly by email. He sent me his phone number but I was too awestruck to call.

Once in a while I have to manually open your blog to see when you have posted, seems life is coming at you right now. I hope you are fine
