Thought I’d share an old one (tweaked) from a couple of years ago.
My first car was a banger, I’d say,
With a handbrake that never obeyed,
I abandoned all hope,
When I parked on a slope,

Something similar happened to me years ago when driving a friend’s old car. 😬 Fortunately, the vehicle jumped a curb then rolled over a trash can which stalled it out. 😅

I’m very lucky in a way, because I never passed my test until 25. So I skipped that whole “driving a clapped-out old banger”, I jumped in straight with a BMW.
