Yes that’s correct. I guessed it too because (a) both names are water-related, and (b) they come from Manchestrer, which is famed for its rainy weather.

Not knowing they came from Manchester, I went with the fact that both names are water-related. Just seemed natural.

Although Charmer says in another comment that the name Oasis was taken from the name of a leisure park! She probably knows more about it than I do.
