This is my response to this week’s Flashback Track Friday prompt, where we were asked to:
Write a personal ad with the title of a song in it.
Bashful Ballroom Ballerina seeks Sexy, Sultry Soulmate to whirl her to wonderland until the wee hours.
Yes, sir, I can boogie with the best, so if you can swing like a simian, jitterbug like a juggernaut, twist like a tornado, and have the stamina of a stallion then let’s rock, roll, rave, and rumble, and rebelliously rewrite the ridiculous rules of romance.
I dread to think how much it would’ve cost to put that in the Liverpool Echo!

It was funny. I had the song in mind and went straight for the original, but thought the performance was a bit… pedestrian.
I believe she went off, got married and dropped loads of sprogs.
