Over the weekend, KK must have listened to loads of new tracks and she picked one out for us today on the blog I share with her, Songshine Sounds.

This is another one I quite like. It has a nice bit of energy in there. I’m trying to think if it reminds me of something. Any suggestions?

Does your spirit crave the new? I know mine does. So every Monday, I will feature a new song that wasn’t even in existence the week before. Yes, it’s true. Great new music is still being made every week. I will mix up the genres and artists to keep the surprises coming.

This week’s new artist, 6’6 tall singer-songwriter Jake Herring, commonly known as BabyJake, started playing guitar at age eight in Fort Myers, Florida. He gained musical recognition under his given name before releasing his first solo-album Don’t give me more problems, give me more wine in 2020.

Divorced, grown/flown daughter. In life, I designed IT systems, taking a career break as a bicycle mechanic, until interrupted by a stroke in 2016, aged 48. As I convalesced, I combined the development of health-related apps with voluntary work, and began writing.
