I have never heard of this woman (I am told I should have) but this is a pleasant “live” set nonetheless, I thought.
For me, I get a buzz from hearing French-language material, especially since my own ability to travel has been so restricted since my stroke.
Isn’t she tiny?

If you’re anything like us, you’re missing your regular drip of live music to keep you going. Luckily, lots of mini-concerts are still happening online, and we can tune into to get an intimate musical fix.
Héloïse Adélaïde Letissier known professionally as Christine and the Queen is a French singer/songwriter with amazing range and musical talent. This impromptu concert was given from Studio Ferber in Paris on March 16th of 2020. I hope you enjoy her raw voice and vocal talent as much as I do.
Line Up:
People, I’ve been sad
Mountains (we met)
Je disparais dans tes bras

Some of Edith Piaff’s stuff still sounds amazing.

I could never understand why some of my friends would, even in the Nineties, listen to an Edith-Piaf-style singer on a night out. What was wrong with getting hammered?
