Who Won the Week (27 September 2020)

I always liked Fandango’s Who Won the Week post, and like to join in with some quirky stories from my own newsfeeds. All from our unique vantage points, the idea is to pick something (a person, organisation, anything) which “won” the week.

Sloppy Seconds!

I have another anonymous winner this week, I’m afraid, but this Vietnamese woman gets top marks for her recycling efforts.

For this factory owner hit on an ingenious method for “manufacturing” condoms. She set up a production line and had her army of staff take used condoms. Yes, I said USED. They washed them, reshape them of wooden dildos, then reseal them. My entrepreneurial winner then sold them as new.

When Vietnamese police raided the premises, they found almost 350,000 used condoms awaiting preparation, that’s about 3/4 ton of rubber.

Eeeeuuuuuwwwwww!
