Well, poor Grandpa, was cut to the quick,
Truth be told, he had been worried sick,
To the boy that was near,
Stammered “How’d you get here?”,
But the lad just replied with a “Hic”.

Separated with a grown/flown daughter. In life, I designed IT systems, taking a career break as a bicycle mechanic, until interrupted by a stroke in 2016, aged 48.
