In my youth, had a girlfriend called Sally,
Scoring dope, met a guy down dark alley,
Once we’d took a long sniff,
We went home, rolled a spliff,
Then sparked up for a right good finale.
There are probably several words in there which are UK-specific. If you see one you don’t recognise… it’s all marijuana-related. My featured image shows a spliff. God knows whether you can sniff dope to determine its quality, but the word fit.
I could hear Hobbo tutting as I wrote it.

I will take your word for the marijuana. Never tried it……. never wanted to, but some swear by it. My next trip
will be by train or plane. 🙂 Good rhyming.
