Inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of 6 November 2021, tumultuous.
A hot air balloonist from Splott
Asked his girlfriend ’bout tying the knot,
For decision tumultuous,
The waiting was tortuous,
’til at last, she said “Certainly not”!
Believe it or not, Splott is a real place, and it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as it sounds. When I was at university in Cardiff, it was considered one of the worst areas of the city, even by student standards, and I went out with someone who lived there.

Oh my gosh poor guy
Hope he squashed her with a pie

Oh, i posted three times already today. I try to make 3 the limit. But the only one with any proper writing was the walk one. I tend to write in the morning and read in the evening.
I just turned the tv on and “For Your Eyes Only” was on. Love the scenery. My dad took me to see it at the cinema.

Oh I didn’t know that. But it strikes me as the kind of business where you make your money then get out. Judging by how many have made comebacks in the last few years, I doubt they made much money in the UK.

oh yes I heard about that going to happen. It mnight be interesting, they were all good at their “thing” so, who knows.
It’s a tough call, though. Paul McCartney is still making music nearly eighty but it is pretty awful, I think.

I never saw Alien but I liked her in another one called Galaxyquest. It was kinda a spoof of Star Trek.

I tell you what, though, I liked him in Last Action Hero. Nobody liked that movie except me. I saw it in Paris, which is possibly why.

Mountbattebn lived in Romsey, quite near to me. This place has its drawbacks but it is a beautiful part of the world. People come on holiday here.
