Hee hee hee. There’s was New Zealand comic (I think he died recently). His real name was John Clarke but he did a character called Fred Dagg. He has this series of skits about a sport he made up called Farnarkelling. Anyway, your limerick reminds me of one of the players going to receive an award (it’s all done like a sports report on the news) and the player falls through an interstice in the platform and accepts his award internally. Later he has to have an accoladectomy. LOL.
