Life through the Lens (31 October 2021)

When my eyesight was still good, I was a bit of an amateur photographer. This is one of mine.

This was a midsummer visit to Exbury Gardens down by the coast in Hampshire. Exbury is famed particularly for its azaleas and rhododendrons.

    • Actually, a brilliant day out. Down Calshot way, but it opens out onto the Beaulieu river. If Mr Misk likes old tech. they used to run miniature steam trains, too. Home of the Rothschilds. There’s Compton Acres, too, Poole way, but that was a nice day out.

  1. Beautiful. Your eyes have an excellent perspective on how to set up the shot. I think you were on your way to
becoming a genuine photographer who could have been published.

  2. That’s why they always say “stop and smell the roses” something we all need to do and appreciate.

The photo is excellent I can see why they wanted to publish that one. See even the theme of the windmill went with your sonnet today and your haybales are in the right place on the photo. The eye goes where it should on a good photo.
