We had a stormty day yesterday and it was very sunshine-and-showers today. We did manage to get out for a walk, for a coffee, and just about got home as the heavens opened.
This is one of my favourite viewpoints, a place called Castle Hill, just inside the New Forest. About 10 minutes from home. This scenery is why I live here, especially when I worked so far away.
Bootiful, as Bernard Matthews would have said! 🙂

A big draw of the area was that I used to be able to cycle all day and not see anybody, except on the main roads.

I would love that. 🙂

Ah. That answered that question. Mr M and I were discussing whether the leaves had turned in the New Forest yet. It doesn’t look like it.

No, not really. In a month or so it will be glorious. It’s kinda starting.

We went for coffee today at a place called Sandy Balls, if you’re interested in visiting the area.

Gosh, that’s quite a complex. We often go for a stroll in the New Forest, particularly when the beech trees first set leaves.

You might need a new wardrobe if you visited every day -a waterproof one!
