In response to Fandango’s Who Won the Week posts, I have been looking at my own newsfeeds.

I saw this on the BBC site yesterday, and I wanted to highlight it first to show that these things exist, and second, that people do actually get taken in by them.

Life through the Lens (1 August 2021)

When my eyesight was still good, I was a bit of an amateur photographer. This is one of mine.

Brittany, France. It’s not a brilliant photo but I just loved the “lagoony” colours here. That lightest shade of shallow water, and the golden beach which is stained by all the debris.

This photo was taken in August, the finest time of the year. Even then, the weather there is variable. But this shot made me wonder what the place would look like in January.
