Started candlelit bath to unwind,
But she lost track of time,
When the telephone chimed,
And she now needs the room redesigned.

Shocking Pink

We had a very poor weekend weatherwise but we did get some brief sun early yesterday, so I shot the rhododendron in our garden. Pretty garish, don’t you think? We grew it from tiny and it was several years before it even began to flower. It’s not a colour I’d have chosen if I’d seen it in the shop. However there is a clump of bluebells next to it and there is a delicious contrast between the two.
