This is my response to the earlier Flashback Track Friday prompt, where today we are thrown the Beatles track Tomorrow Never Knows and asked to describe:

what helps us to relax, to float downstream.

The Singleton

inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of of 30 April 2021, mercurial.

When a lovesick young scholar was dumped,
His performance in Math classes slumped,
No less than mercurial,
Computing factorial,
But subtracting things just left him stumped.
