My New Buddy

Jokey clipart of a pig.

inspired by Fandango’s One Word Challenge (FOWC) of3 March 2021, pattern.

When I bought a pet piglet today,
I was told to give daily buffet,
If I follow that pattern,
The piglet will fatten,
And will make a nice lunch Christmas Day.

          1. I’d say we spend 80-90 euro a week before wine and beer. My kids aren’t picky so they are happy with basic meals. Spend most of that in the fresh section. Fruity kids. Wine doesn’t count, right?

                    1. You like that? I was never into meringue. But don’t worry, I’m not really fussy as long as I get my chocolate. Do you know some really good chocolate here is just from Lidl?

There is a tentative roadmap here for coming out of lockdown but I will have to wait to June before I can go someplace to eat nice puddings. But something like Eton Mess would be easy enough to make as long as strawberries are in season.

                    2. Oh, man. June? I prefer raspberry Eton Mass, but if I don’t get out of here before June, I’m going to be on the next border watch show with a backpack and flashlight trying to sneak into another country. 😂

                    3. Well, it’s staggered, but they do seem to have thought it through a bit this time. Schools here are next week, rising to everything in June.
Schools here gained a reputation as breeding grounds, so they want pupils to be tested some. But a surprising number of parents have witheld their consent, apparently. Ultimately, test, vaccines, none of it is compulsory.
